How To Bid

At North American Auction Co. we offer many different avenues to place a bid on an upcoming auction event. Below are a few of the bidding options that you can chose.


We offer online-absentee and online-live bidding on our website directly for a discounted rated.

How will I know if I have won a lot in the auction and will I receive notifications?

If you are a successful bidder, you will receive an email confirmation along with your invoice within 24 hours after the close of an auction, along with payment options and instruction. 


After each lot closed if you are potentially the winning bidder directly on North American Auction the bid will show up in your “My Account” section under the “Items Won” tab. These bids are not final until the auction closes and the bids are verified / confirmed. 

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following payment methods:


  • Wire Transfer
  • Credit Card (Please note, if you intend to pay with a credit card, certain limit restrictions and processing fees will apply)


All invoices at or above $4,000, that contain luxury jewelry or at the complete discretion of the auction house will be required to be paid via wire transfer. 


We reserve the right not to release property until payment has cleared. 

When is payment due?

Payment is due immediately following the receipt of an unpaid invoice or within seven (7) days of the end of the sale. 

How long do I have to collect or ship my won item/s?

All won lots that are paid for in full must be collected or shipped within thirty (30) days , or will be subject to storage fees which will retroactively start seven (7) days after the auction.

Do you offer shipping and packing services?

Yes, we do provide a full service in-house shipping department and will ship any item from freight to jewelry at the buyers expense. For more information please visit the Auction Shipping page here

Can I have my won lot/s collected by someone other than myself?

Yes, in order to have someone other than the listed buyer pickup your item/s North American Auction requires a written release for all property not collected by the original purchaser (this does not apply to firearms that require an FFL). Please send a submission for release with the persons name and contact information as well as pickup dates via email to 

Can I change my mind if I no longer want to buy an item I have won?

No, all sales are final and we do not allow for cancellations once a lot has been won. Remember that each bid placed enters you into a binding legal contract with North American Auction Company and the seller and is always subject to our Terms and Conditions. Once an item sells at auction its legal ownership transfers from seller to buyer. Please only bid if you’re intending and ready to pay for your purchases.

$10 until $100 is reached

$25 until $500 is reached
$50 until $1,000 is reached
$100 until $2,000 is reached
$250 until $10,000 is reached
$500 until $20,000 is reached
$1,000 until $30,000 is reached
$2,500 until $50,000 is reached
$5,000 until $100,000 is reached
$10,000 for all bids over $100,000
